Hi, I’m Bryan McClure. I am an Actor. I was raised in the heart of the United States, Council Bluffs, IA. I spent most of my life there, but I also lived some of my life in Omaha, NE. It was the time that I spent in Omaha that eventually led me to find my love of Acting. I’ve studied many different artforms over the course of my life, but it wasn’t until I had a run in with Acting that I truly fell in love. I started to get as involved as possible. I got in a play. I joined the Nebraska Film Group. I got involved with as many films as possible and before I knew it, all roads were pointing towards LA. I remember where I was when it hit me. I was on the set of the talented Writer/Director Nik Fackler’s film, “Lovely Still”. I was standing about 10 feet away from Academy Award Winners Martin Landau and Ellen Burstyn, when an intense feeling of joy came over me and somehow I just knew that I was supposed to go down this road. So I packed up my bags and headed west.

When I first arrived in LA, a successful Omahan actor recommended that I study the Meisner Technique with a gentleman by the name of William Alderson. William, or Bill as we call him, taught alongside Sandford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York for 20 years before he moved out here. He taught me the importance of being truthful in your work. Bill really taught me the core of acting. He always compares the Meisner Technique to “the floor of a dancer’s”. It gives you a foundation and a place to push off from. I completed his 2 year program and have been off to the races ever since. I’ve since graduated from the prestigious improv school known as iO West and am currently taking some On-going Scene Study, Comedy, and Audition technique with Billy O’Leary. I feel truly blessed to be doing what I love!
